These photos were taken during a surprise visit of the Brooke’s Point Local Government Unit (LGU) along with other environmental enforcers to the controversial Ipilan Mining Site in the Municipality. It can be seen that wide areas of wood were already cut down while the LGU claims that the company has not acquired the necessary permit from the municipal government yet.
